Club Membership
Membership of the GMCOG is open to any not for profit clubs that
cater for owners of all GM brand vehicles who’s manufactured
commencement is from 1950 through to the current year less 20
years – Classic classification. As at 2019 the youngest a vehicle
could qualify as a classic is 1999.
International membership is open to all non-UK clubs as indicated
above.
Guidelines for Clubs wishing to join the GMCOG:-
GMCOG is an inclusive, open and professionally run organisation
keen to raise the profile and enthusiasm for our vehicles.

Please send your membership applications to the GMCOG
Membership Secretary.
•
Each club applying for membership will be provided with and
be required to adhere to the constitution of the GMCOG.
•
Membership applications will be considered at committee
meetings to ensure qualification criteria are met in order to
approve an application made. Criteria to be advised on applic-
ation, including scale of costs.
•
The Membership Secretary will notify the club by e-mail with
in 7 working days of the committee meeting.
•
If successful, the applicant club is welcome to attend all
GMCOG meetings and events.
•
Clubs are required to nominate 2 representatives to attend
GMCOG committee meetings which will be held approximately
4 times a year. Attendance standards are monitored and en-
forced as per the Constitution. The location for the meeting
will be advised.

IMPORTANT, current public liability insurance is mandatory for
all members.
Individual Membership
Individual Membership of the General Motors Classic Owners
Group is also available.

Individual associate membership costs £5.
•
Individual associate membership qualification is straight for-
ward – see GMCOG constitution for further details.
